The Theological Education Department looks after the recruitment of students from different Presbyteries for Theological studies to different Theological Colleges and mainly to John Roberts Theological Seminary, Mawklot, Shillong. The Department sponsors at least 10 students each year and awards them a stipend of Rs. 1500/- per month from the time they start the orientation class till completion of the course. The Department is also conducting the Pro Pastor Course of Reading and Examination for all Pro pastors and the Orientation Class for the Final Year students in helping them to know the Presbyterianism, its constitutions and ministry. The Department is also arranging a programme for practical work for Theological Students as and when required by the Seminaries concerned.
